Amarjeet Sonkar is a Penman, Calligrapher and Pointed Pen Illustrator based in Singapore. He is a Principal User Experience Designer by day.

Amarjeet practices American Scripts, primarily Spencerian and Copperplate Scripts. He has developed his own unique art styles by combining American Scripts, Off-Hand Flourishing and Portraits Illustration using pointed pen.

Amarjeet also practises Chinese Brush Painting under the tutelage of Tan Khim Ser, founder of Life Art Society, a renowned artist and now veteran painter. In 2018, he published his first fully hand illustrated book titled “Flourishing” by @beinguxer. In the same year, he was awarded the prestigious IAMPETH International Scholarship.
