Is this event open ONLY for Calligraphers & Artists in/from India?
This event is open to anyone who is/has reside in India or is from India. In fact,
it is open to anyone that can write Indian language script.

Do I need to pay for my entry?
No. Participation is FREE. There is no entry fee required. The rental for exhibition space and expense of showcase displays for all selected artworks, will be sponsored by event organiser. However,
if your artwork is selected for exhibition, you will have to pay for the packing and shipping of your artwork to the event organiser in Singapore.

Can I create my artwork in any language?
No. Artwork must be in Indian language calligraphic script ONLY. Examples : Devanagari (Hindi Marathi, Nepali, Sanskrit etc.) Bengali / Assamese /Odis / Punjabi / Tamil / Malayalam / Kannada / Telegu. You are free to even create your own calligraphic art using any old scripts like Brahmi for example.

Can it be in more than one Indian language script?
Yes. it can be a mixed art incorporating script from more than one
Indian language.

How many entries can I submit?
There is no limit to the submission.
You can upload as many entries as you please on your profile, with appropriate hashtags and tags. Please refer to the submission rules stated on https://toolart.sg/call-for-entries/

Do I have to write the English translation on my artwork ?
No. However, you may write the interpretation, details or translation of the script you used in your post caption.

What is the prize for being shortlist?
This is NOT a COMPETITION but a showcase of outstanding works of art. It is an opportunity to exhibit your artwork on the world platform and receive recognition. Selected entries will receive a certificate of excellence and a chance to sell their artwork, if they choose to.
