Amarjeet Sonkar is a Penman, Calligrapher and
Pointed Pen Illustrator based in Singapore. He is a
Principal User Experience Designer by day.
Amarjeet practices American Scripts, primarily
Spencerian and Copperplate Scripts. He has
developed his own unique art styles by combining
American Scripts, Off-Hand Flourishing and
Portraits Illustration using pointed pen.
Amarjeet also practises Chinese Brush Painting under the tutelage of Tan Khim Ser, founder of Life Art Society, a renowned artist and now veteran painter. In 2018, he published his first fully hand illustrated book titled “Flourishing” by @beinguxer. In the same year, he was awarded the prestigious IAMPETH International Scholarship. WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Participate in this workshop at the comfort of your home, as it will be LIVE STREAM! Learn the fundamental of flourishing and how to compose it with your calligraphy. Practice basic forearm movements to archive a combination of graceful and smooth lines.
Once registered, no refund for those who wish to withdraw their partcipation but you may find a replacement if you are unable to attend. However, we reserve the right to amend, postpone or cancel (full refund) this workshop with prior notice to all participants.
